This tool is a calculator of the resistance of an electric wire. It uses the relation between the wire resistance and the wire dimensions and material (resistivity). The formula is as follows,

`R = \rho*L/A`

R: resistance in ohm
`\rho`: resistivity in ohm-meter
L: length in meter
A: cross-sectional area of the wire in meter square
